Fighting HIV Stigma March and Rally – join us on Saturday 18 March
On Saturday 18 March, over 20 HIV organisations are uniting to organise a march through central London standing up to HIV stigma. We're planning to join the march as an LGBT+ Liberal Democrats block and we'd love it if you could join us.
As you know, both HIV and HIV stigma disproportionately impact LGBT+ communities. This march will be a chance to stand, loudly and proudly, against discrimination. As a party we have a strong recent record on HIV policy.
Stand, loudly and proudly, against discrimination.
If you're able to join us to show support, we will meet from 12pm at London's Belvedere Road, opposite St Thomas' Hospital/behind County Hall, to begin to march to Trafalgar Square at 1pm. Those unable to march can meet us for the rally in Trafalgar Square at 2pm.
There will be placards and T-shirts available on the day. Please wear yellow/orange and bring any local banners if you can!
Get in touch with Rachel-lee Mackenzie if you have any questions at rachelleemackenzie@gmail.com
We hope to see you there - everyone is welcome, why not bring a friend.

The HIV Commission recommend routine opt-out HIV testing in A&E to reach zero cases by 2030. With the program's success, the government should expand it beyond the initial four cities. Share this council motion on opt-out HIV testing with your local group to help promote routine testing across our health service.
