Lib Dems parading at Manchester Pride

Local Lib Dems will be at multiple Pride events this weekend across the country, and party members and supporters are encouraged to join us and take part!

The Lib Dems will be taking part in the Manchester Pride Parade on Saturday. There will be a photo opportunity for the group at 11:30am at Castlefield Roman Fort followed by the parade. The Lib Dems also have a social on Sunday at Tribeca to which all members and supporters are welcome. We'll have a stall in the Expo across the weekend, so please come and say hi and get involved in our Human Rights campaign - and if you can spare a couple of hours to meet other Pride goers at the Expo, please let us know!

In Margate, the Liberal Democrats will be at Kent Pride. Find us at Margate train station at 10am or join us in the Lido carpark before 11am.

In Truro, the local Lib Dems will be involved in Cornwall Pride.

Chair of LGBT+ Lib Dems, Dave Page, said: "It's great to see local parties engaging with their local LGBT+ communities at Pride events. We work hard to support them in this, and other advice on campaigning and engagement. Pride is a celebration, but it is also a protest, and the Lib Dems will continue to be the vanguard of equality that we have been for decades."

Next weekend, the Liberal Democrats will be out at Reading Pride.
