LGBT Lib Dems will be at Scottish Liberal Democrats' conference in Aberdeen

This weekend is Scottish Liberal Democrats conference in Aberdeen. LGBT+ Lib Dems will have a stall in the Exhibition throughout the weekend, where you can come talk to us about our activities, join us, and find out how we help Lib Dems engage with local LGBT+ communities. We will also be encouraging Scottish members to support the re-election of Jo Swinson, one of our Six Saints, in recognition of her support for LGBT+ issues in Parliament.

There is also a fringe meeting at 5:15-6:15pm on Friday. This will be a networking event for putting members, Parliamentarians and activists together to make sure Scotland's LGBT+ population is represented in Lib Dem and Scottish Lib Dem policy and campaigns, and that we spread word of our successes to the LGBT+ communities.

On Saturday, Conference will debate a policy by Liberal Youth Scotland, "SC11: A motion to end the cruelty of gay conversion therapy", calling for a ban on attempts to alter patients' sexuality.
