Cardiff Liberal Democrats at Cardiff Mardi Gras 2009

Cardiff Lib Dems at a previous Mardi Gras

The Welsh Liberal Democrats will be at Cardiff Mardi Gras at the Millennium Stadium this Saturday 31st August.

They will have a stall in the Mardi Gras Market, meeting with local LGBT+ people and hearing about local services concerns. They will be celebrating same-sex marriage in England and Wales, in which the Liberal Democrats played a key role, and the party's longstanding history of LGBT+ equality. They will also be calling on the Welsh Government to improve guidelines on homophobic bullying in schools, and running a petition on the treatment of LGBT+ people in Russia.

They will also be taking part in the Mardi Gras Parade on Churchill Way from 10:30am. Do come along and meet the team and get involved in the work to improve LGBT+ equality in Wales!
