Vigil Today for Lords Committee Debates

LGBT Lib Dems chair Adrian Trett at the previous Vigil
Today, Monday 17th June, will see a vigil outside Parliament for the first day of the Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Bill Committee stage in the House of Lords.
As with previous Parliamentary events, supporters will gather over the road from the House of Lords from around 3:30pm until around 8pm. All supporters are encouraged to come and join in regardless of political affiliation - just turn up and look for the rainbow flags and listen for the singing!
LGBT+ Lib Dems exec member Dave Page said, "It's important to get this Bill right, and Lib Dem peers will be supporting amendments to improve the Bill in line with Lib Dem policy. If you can spare some time, please do make it along - it's incredibly important that we keep up the pressure on Parliament to do this right by keeping our focus on the legislative process."
