See you at Manchester Pride!

Lib Dems at last year's Manchester Pride
This weekend is Manchester Pride, one of the UK's biggest celebrations of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life. The Liberal Democrats will be there in force, demonstrating our support for the Lib Dem policy of equal marriage which we're delivering in Government. We'll also be supporting local MP John Leech's call for a pardon for gay WW2 codebreaker and computer science innovator Alan Turing.
You can join us on the parade at around 12:30. We're meeting at rally point 47 on Liverpool Road, opposite the Hilton tower on Deansgate. We'll also have a presence in the Lifestyle Expo throughout the weekend.
Manchester local co-ordinator Dave Page said, "Manchester Pride is a high point on the LGBT+ calendar both nationally and locally, and I'm proud that Lib Dems from across the UK are coming together to support the event and the LGBT+ communities - and I'm sure everybody will have a great time!"
