New name, still the leading LGBT equality group!
Delga is no more - LGBT+ Liberal Democrats is officially here!
Following a debate and vote by members at the AGM tonight, we have formally become LGBT+ Liberal Democrats (or LGBT+ Lib Dems)
This brings to an end more than a decade as Lib Dems for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Action, and two decades of having the official short-form name "Delga".
Later this week we hope the change will be formally ratified by the Federal Party in the debate on "SAO" and "AO" recognition, so we will continue to be able to directly influence and propose policy to the Liberal Democrat party as a whole.
