Here's our guide to what's what at this year's Autumn Federal Conference in Birmingham

We will have a stall in the Exhibition throughout the weekend. We'll be selling copies of our latest member's magazine, renewing and signing up new memberships, and letting people know how we can help the Lib Dems and the LGBT communities can work together for equality. Do drop by and see us!

AGM, 6pm Saturday

Our AGM is at the Mint Hotel, behind Brindley Place at the back of the ICC. We will have Lynne Featherstone MP to fill us in on her work in the Commons and the Home Office.

Note that the AGM venue is outside the "secure zone" for the conference and hence you do not need to undergo accreditation to attend the AGM - though we will be checking our membership list at the door, so please bring your party membership card!

Fringe, 6:30pm Monday

Our fringe meeting is in the Malmaison Hotel, on "Being LGBT in the Public Sphere". Our panel will include Ben Summerskill, Stephen Williams MP, Simon Hughes MP, Belinda Brooks-Gordon and Brian Paddick.

Other Events and Debates

Items in the conference agenda that you may find interesting include motion F9 (9am Sunday) on Conference accreditation, where the position of LGBT Lib Dems is that the requirement for CRB checks place trans people at unnecessary risk of being outed to colleagues etc. which may place their personal safety at risk.

Motion F33 on the blood donation ban for men who sleep with men, and the women who sleep with them, is at 9:40am on Tueday

Lynne Featherstone's speech to Conference is at 3:55pm on Saturday, ahead of our AGM.

We hope you can make Conference, and look forward to seeing you at our events.
