London's Lib Dems represent local LGBT communities all year round

The Liberal Democrats will be out in force at Pride London this weekend, celebrating the capital's LGBT+ communities. Be part of the Lib Dem team at LGBT Pride London for the most unique campaigning session you could ever be part of. Our presence at last year's Pride was fantastic and this year will be even better.

Now we've been in government for over a year it's more important than ever that we show a strong presence at Pride London - to remind people of the great things we're delivering in government. One of our main themes is 'Delivering Equal Marriage' as consultation on equal marriage rights for all will kick off next month.

What's more, in little over ten months' time Londoners will be going to the polls for the Mayoral and GLA elections so it's vital we have a great showing at Pride London. Over a hundred thousand Londoners watch or take part in this parade. They are Londoners with votes!

We'll have large banners and placards that need people to hold them so make sure you join us. We want Lib Dem supporters to join us from all parts of London and beyond. This isn't just a group for LGBT+ Lib Dems - it's one for every Lib Dem to show their support for equality and diversity. Come along and join other Lib Dems, including candidates, councillors and parliamentarians.

Our meeting point is on Portland Place on the streets between New Cavendish Street and Weymouth Street. Just head up or down Portland Place until you spot the Lib Dem bus. Nearest tubes are Oxford Circus or Regent's Park.

We are assembling from midday. The parade kicks off at 1pm so please make sure you join us by 12.30pm. If need any help on the day then please phone either Adrian Trett on 07801 290193 or Keith Angus on 07792 039535. We look forward to seeing you there!
