Steve Gilbert interviewed, will introduce Equal Marriage policy

Steve Gilbert MP will invite Lib Dems to vote for Equal Marriage
Liberal Democrat MP for St Austell & Newquay,Steve Gilbert, reveals in a Pink News interview today that he will be introducing the equal marriage policy motion to the Liberal Democrat conference on Tuesday morning.
He also talks about how being gay has influenced politicians' lives, and how he sees equality as a "black and white" issue. Steve was elected in the newly-formed constituency in May.
The equal marriage motion was introduced by Lib Dem LGBT body Delga, which can submit policy directly to Conference as a formal part of the party. If the motion is voted through by local party members from across the UK, as expected, the Lib Dems will be the first UK party in Government to support equal marriage, and the first of the three main parties.
