Nick Clegg is "most trusted" by PinkPaper.com readers

A new survey for PinkPaper.com has revealed that Nick Clegg is the most trusted politician on gay issues. Nick, a strong supporter of equal marriage, scored 77% in the poll, compared to Gordon Brown on 18% and David Cameron on just 5%.

The poll follows Nick's success in last Thursday's Prime Ministerial Debate, the first of three head-to-head debates between the leaders of the main parties. The next debate on foreign affairs is tomorrow night on Sky News. The poll also reflects the national upswing of support for the Liberal Democrats.

DELGA executive member Dave Page said, "This poll is another part of the current tide of support for Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats, and should encourage people everywhere to remind their friends of this party's unparalleled record on LGBT equality."
