Let them decide!

It's time to open up the choice.
Under the Civil Partnership Act 2004, civil partnership ceremonies are forbidden from taking place in any building designed for or used solely for religious purposes. Lib Dem parliamentary spokesperson for Brighton Pavilion, Andrew Falconer, has launched a petition to amend the legislation.
"This is not about forcing gay marriage on churches" he says. "It is about allowing churches and faith groups sympathetic to same-sex partnerships the ability to decide for themselves whether to allow ceremonies."
DELGA members and supporters are warmly encouraged to sign the petition!
