May 28, 2008 8:12 PM

DELGA are sad to note the tragic death of Paul Patrick, co-founder of what is now Schools OUT and of the annual LGBT History Month. Paul died on Thursday 22nd May after a long battle with a chronic lung condition.

DELGA Chair Jen Yockney said, "While he was not, so far as I am aware, a Lib Dem he was nonetheless a tireless campaigner for LGBT equality, and a vivid and passionate communicator of the need to achieve real change for our communities. We will miss him greatly."
