Lib Dems at Manchester LGBT Pride 2007

A bustling stall at Manchester yet again

Lib Dems were out in force again at Manchester's LGBT Pride festival this weekend. Our Lifestyle Expo stall - despite being in a much less prominent location than last year - garnered many more signatures for the Stop Homophobic Bullying campaign.

DELGA Chair Jen Yockney commented, "Pride can be a really big and fabulous party, especially in Manchester with its glamorous Saturday parade, but it is important to remember that the fight for LGBT equality still has not been won despite advances in recent years. Many thanks to all those who helped raise the Lib Dem flag at Pride in Manchester and to the many people who came to sign our petition and add their support on one of the key issues in LGBT liberation today."
