2023 Executive Elections
We're thrilled to announce the commencement of the elections process for key roles within the LGBT+ Liberal Democrats Executive. Following constitutional amendments at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), we are excited about the opportunities these changes bring to further strengthen our committee and organisation.
Here are the essential details for those interested in standing to join the LGBT+ Liberal Democrats executive.
Please note that this year's returning officer is Mark Valladares.
Key Dates
- Elections Nomination Deadline: 3rd December, 5 pm
- Submission of Manifesto Deadline: 3rd December, 5 pm
- No nominations accepted after the deadline
How to Nominate
- Express your interest by emailing PlusLGBTLD@gmail.com, confirming your nomination.
- Secure a seconder who is also a proud member of the LGBT+ Lib Dems. They should email us separately to affirm their support.
Manifesto Guidelines
- Submission Deadline: 3rd December, 5 pm
- Keep it concise: Manifestos should be no larger than a single side of A4.
- Enhance accessibility: Accompany your manifesto with a plain text version in a Word document.
