Support LGBT+ Lib Dems and help us remain at the forefront of LGBT+ equality and liberation.
LGBT+ Lib Dems is a major driving force for LGBT+ equality in this country and abroad. As the first party to put gay rights in an election manifesto, to being leaders on gender recognition for trans people, to campaigning for LGBT asylum seekers, to equal marriage... the Lib Dems have always been there for LGBT+ people.
You can support our work, whether you're a Lib Dem or not. Memberships, subscriptions and donations help fund our campaigns. It helps us lobby Government ministers and form our groundbreaking policies. It helps us talk about our leading policies in the media, and produce campaigning material for your local pink pub or shop.
It helps us provide high-profile presences at Liberal Democrat conferences, where we can talk to our MPs and Ministers as well as NGOs and other organisations. Of course, it also helps us lobby the grassroots membership to support the policy motions we submit as official Lib Dem policy! Our fringe meetings often provoke strong debate, and our socials have been hailed as fantastic networking occasions.
Liberal Democrat Party Members
As a Specified Associated Organisation of the Liberal Democrat party, full membership of LGBT+ Lib Dems is only available to party members. You will need to provide your Liberal Democrat party membership number when you join. Joining the Liberal Democrats means you can have a say in the party's policies, attend conferences and get free party training. It'll also get you involved with your local Lib Dems for campaigning and social activities.
Members of LGBT+ Lib Dems receive our regular members' newsletters, get to attend our Winter and Summer strategy conferences, and have the right to vote in Annual General Meetings to elect the executive who lead our campaigning work. It's also the best way to get involved yourself.

Non-Lib Dem Supporters
If you're not a member of the Liberal Democrats and don't want to join at this time, you can still register as a supporter. Supporters can't vote in our AGM or attend our strategy meetings, but you will still receive regular newsletters keeping you informed about what LGBT+ Lib Dems are achieving to bring about equality.
NB: Discounted and joint rates are not available for supporters.

Download a membership form - online here as a PDF document and send it to us with a cheque / postal order payable to "LGBT Lib Dems". If you have problems with PDFs or don't have a printer - simply make sure your cheque is accompanied by the details we need: name, address, email.

Please note: under the terms of the PPER law on party political funding, donations over £200 have to be recorded centrally and donations over £5000 will be recorded as public record. To be legal, such donations must be from people who are registered as voters in the UK. As such please make sure you give us your name and address with any donation. Otherwise your donation will have to be returned.
