DELGA at Liverpool Conference 2008

DELGA had a fantastic time at Spring Conference 2008, held in Lib Dem run Liverpool.

As usual there was a DELGA stall in the exhibition area of the conference.

The stall was well-staffed and well-attended, attracting a lot of attention. The newspapers that weekend were full of the story of Mehdi Kazemi's asylum case, with Lib Dem President Simon Hughes MP among those writing about the case in the Independent.

Party Leader Nick Clegg was amongst the visitors to the stall, taking time to collect a DELGA 2008 handbook and sign our LGBT Asylum petition.
