Juliet Williams is the Lib Dem candidate for Brighton Kemptown
A poll conducted at National Student Pride puts the Liberal Democrats at the top of the student vote. The poll was conducted by PinkPaper.com at the student event in Brighton, and showed that over 30% of respondents intended to vote Lib Dem at the next General Election.
Brighton Kemptown candidate Juliet Williams said "I am delighted to see the strength of support for my party shown by those at Student Pride. My campaigning on LGBT issues goes back over twenty years to Clause 28, and our policies on equality issues make me proud to stand as a Liberal Democrat. But we are not a single issue party - those studying or working in education can be assured that every vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote for investment in education and towards the abolition of university tuition fees."
