Nick Clegg campaigns with DELGA for LGBT Equality
Nick Clegg, leader of the Liberal Democrats, has called for Uganda to be expelled from the Commonwealth if it passes the Anti-Homosexuality Bill tomorrow. The new bill introduces the death penalty for acts of homosexuality, bans promotion of same-sex health education, and requires people to report homosexual activity or face prison.
Nick said, "It is deeply shocking that the Ugandan Government or anyone else believes that is acceptable to rehash dangerous ideas like banning homosexuality."
