A great week in Bournemouth

DELGA had a great week in Bournemouth for Lib Dem Conference. Our colourful stall in the exhibition - with a display of photos from what has been our biggest ever Pride campaign - was bustling each day, and our fringe meetings and social each drew excellent crowds.

The DELGA / Stonewall joint meeting, "Equality In A Cold Climate", was particularly rewarding. We enjoyed a strong Q & A session and speeches from our guests Stephen Williams MP, Lynne Featherstone MP and the PPC Stephen Gilbert. Ben Summerskill and Jen Yockney also spoke for Stonewall and DELGA respectively, while questions from the floor included several parliamentarians - not least DELGA President, Evan Harris MP.
