DELGA Chair Kelvin Meyrick has welcomed the news that the Liberal Democrat petition to stamp out homophobia in schools has topped 2,000 signatures.
"Thankyou to so many people for giving this campaign their support. This campaign will continue into the Autumn including a fringe meeting at Lib Dem Conference on the subject."
"I urge all DELGA's members - and supporters of our campaign, whether or not they normally back the Liberal Democrats - to help us keep up the momentum.
