DELGA Chair Kelvin Meyrick has welcomed the news that the Liberal Democrat petition to stamp out homophobia in schools has already topped 1,500 signatures.

"Thankyou to so many people for giving this campaign their support. However, I know we can do so much better."

"I urge all DELGA's members - and supporters of our campaign, whether or not they normally back the Liberal Democrats - to help us keep up the momentum. It only takes a moment to email friends or add a link to the petition from your blog or web page."
